Forgiving is liberating, and a person will never know real freedom until they have learned to forgive. Some people will not understand the liberating power of forgiveness until they come to a crossroad in their life and discover that for it is in forgiving that one is forgiven.

Forgiving is Divine but forgetting is something else; I found out later in life that was NOT true. To forgive is good, a necessity. It heals the body, soul, mind and spirit. It is important to remember though, that “forgiving” and “condoning” does not at all need to go hand in hand. Forgiveness is a selfish act. The more you forgive, the happier you will become.? A wise man once said: “Forgiveness is giving up all hope of a better past.”

In Christianity, even God does not forgive one who is unrepentant. Forgiveness is not an entitlement; it needs to be earned. What happens to that person who is supposed to be forgiven on judgment day?

To forgive is to heal thyself. Lord, make me a channel for thy peace; that where there is wrong, I may bring the spirit of forgiveness.

Look for my many articles on the Internet under James Murray Author for more information or jjmurray007@yahoo.com.

So how can someone forgive the unforgivable? I do not know the answer to that question, but to NOT forgive; that person will end up having it eat away at their soul. I have forgiven the unforgivable (trying hard) but that does not mean that I will ever like that person or have forgotten what he did. The forgiveness is for me so I can move on, not for HIM.

It is said that forgiving is good for the soul. Some things are unforgivable. How can someone forgive the unforgivable?? God says to forgive and love. God does not tell someone that they have to like that person. Does a person have to condone what another person did to them? No way! A person would never want to condone anybody who has dishonestly taken part of someone life’s work for themselves for their own greedy, self-centered, selfish purpose, not for any reason!

Some people are unable or unwilling to admit to a wrong that they have committed. Today, some people are trapped in the jails they have built. Unable to admit to themselves what they did, they are unable to admit to others. Unable to forgive themselves, these people are unable to say they are sorry. Unable to rationalize what they did, they remain stuck in a state of denial. Forgiving is one of the few moral concepts that corrupted people are concerned about.

Everything is forgivable. The Lord says forgive everyone for everything!? God forgives us for every wrong thing we have ever done, no matter how terrible, if we ask him to forgive us. Why then should I deny others the same forgiveness that God has shown to me? Yes, for me as a human being, it is definitely harder and can seem impossible at times, but with God’s help I can forgive even that which does not deserve to be forgiven.

Jesus Christ said we are supposed to forgive others from our heart (Mat 18:35). Forgiveness and freedom go hand in hand. The more a person forgives, the less of the past that person will need to drag along with them, into the present.

In the St. Francis prayer; “Lord, make me a channel for thy peace; that where there is wrong, I may bring the spirit of forgiveness.” Learning to forgive begins with understanding what God says about forgiveness in the Bible.

The process allows those who are
otherwise too afraid to go to an appointment, receive the care they
require while avoiding the apprehension known to many as dental phobia.

Sedation is a method used in hopes of establishing a relaxed, calm, and
easy state through the use of sedatives. These drugs can be administered
in a variety of ways. In the past, IV sedation was the most common form
used, however advancements in recent years have seen a rise in new
techniques and delivery methods.

While IV methods are quite effective and safe, the sedation process has
evolved into a more efficient and relaxing experience. Today, people can
choose from a variety of methods including inhalation, and pills to be
taken orally.

The latter, is now the most common tactic used to quell patient phobias.
The treatment is simple and requires no needles. In addition, the
medications create such a relaxing experience that patients generally
have trouble remembering anything about their visit.

One major benefit of these methods is that patients often report feeling
as though their appointment lasted only minutes, when in fact, it may
have taken hours to perform. Therefore, procedure that might have
required multiple visits can now be performed in fewer appointments.

Those who are reluctant to seek treatments due to a fear of undergoing
extensive dental work are now afforded the opportunity to receive the
care they require. Sedation dentistry is able to make these people feel
at ease and help them achieve a smile they can be proud of.

In addition, due to the fact that these techniques address many fears
that keep patients away from the dentist chair, patients are more likely
to receive more routine care. Thus, problems may be treated prior to
requiring extensive work.

Occasionally, the methods employed have been referred to interchangeably
as sleep dentistry. Though, it should be noted that the term is rather
misleading. While many patients report not being able to remember their
appointments, in all reality, they are awake the entire time. However,
due to the effects of the sedative, patients may feel sleepy.

To find out more about this wonderful option, begin by scheduling a
consultation with a trusted dentist. He or she will be best able to
evaluate your case and provide you with the options most suitable to
your specific needs and desires.

A sedation dentist is an oral physician that provides dental treatments
to individuals who typically experience anxiety and fear when faced with
attending a dental appointment.

Otoplasty is procedure that has been performed for decades. Simply put, it is plastic surgery done on the ears. Many times this is to correct the problem of ears protruding too much from the head, but it can also mean correcting deformities, or simply reshaping them.

The procedure is often safely performed on young children in the case of deformities, and is performed regularly on adolescents and adults for cosmetic reasons. If you think that you may be a candidate for this type of procedure, you want to consider your options carefully, and educate yourself so that you can be involved in the process from beginning to end.

Making the Decision

If you have an ear deformity that has not yet been corrected, then your reason for wanting otoplasty is obvious. If you simply don’t like the way that your ears look, however, then you probably want to give the surgery a little more consideration.

Take an honest inventory of how long you have felt this way about the way they look, and if any recent circumstances in your life have affected your self-esteem. Talk it over with someone you trust whom you can also count on to be objective when it comes to how you feel about your ears. The final decision is yours, but you want to make it wisely.

The Surgery

If you’ve decided that you definitely want to go through with the Otoplasty procedure, it’s good to be aware of what will happen during the surgery. It’s your body, and you should always know what is being done to it. How the surgery will proceed depends on what needs to be done, of course.

If it’s being done to correct over-protrusion, an incision is made at the back of the ear where the scar is unlikely to be seen, and the ear is sutured in a way that pulls it closer to the head. Other procedures may involve sculpting different parts of the ear.

The surgery usually isn’t long in duration, and is most often done using a local anesthetic instead of a general. Exceptions would be extensive corrective surgery, and surgery done on small children. Always ask the surgeon to describe to you exactly what is going to be done during your or your child’s particular procedure.

Recovery

What you do during the recovery period after otoplasty is mostly common sense. Keep the area clean, keep it dry for at least a few days, and keep any lotions or hair products away from the suture area. Get plenty of rest so your body has the energy it needs to heal quickly and efficiently, and follow all of your doctor’s post-surgery instructions.

Otoplasty can make a big difference in how your ears look, which in turn can make a difference in the way you look and feel overall. If you approach it responsibly, you’ll be sure to have the best results possible.

Otoplasty can be done at any age provided the ears have grown fully. But definitely the opinion of an experienced plastic surgeon is needed.

The silicone gel implants available for breast augmentation are taken
for granted today, but the history of how these implants were developed
and approved illustrates how far this technology has come. Although the
difficulties exhibited with the use of such engrafts in the past are
many, this process of trial and error has led to an implant that is
safer than ever before.

Dow Corning first developed the use of this chemical for various
applications during World War II. This development was utilized in 1961
with the guidance of two Texas plastic surgeons, Frank Gerow and Thomas
Cronin, to manufacture the first silicone implant for use in breast
augmentation. The new Dow Corning implant’s first use took place the
next year in 1962. This first generation implant utilized a thick
envelope with a thick viscous version of a gel.

Although the next generation of engraft was innovated to make them
softer and more natural feeling, this second generation silicone
implant turned out to be much more dangerous and unstable than the
first generation. Most of the class action lawsuits involving these
ingraft is connected to second generation of implants. Once the second
genesis implant shells were strengthened with a polyurethane foam
coating they became safer for breast augmentation, but only after
passing government tests for carcinogenic effects from the
polyurethane. The “double lumen” type of implant was also developed at
this time using a saline implant to surround a silicone implant,
thereby enhancing safety, but this design’s complexity turned out to be
unstable and unsafe in the long run.

Newer forms of such implanting created in the 1980s used various
methods to create a stronger shell and they went back to a more solid
mixture of it like the first genesis. These steps all reduced the
chances of an implant leaking. The most recent innovation in breast
augmentation engraft comes in the form of the solid or stable engraft
affectionately called “Gummy Bear”. These are just being approved for
use in the United States today, although they have been in use in other
parts of the world for over 15 years. This kind of implant is much
safer because the thickness of the entire solid implant makes any kind
of migration or leakage impossible.

The development of silicone implants has steadily improved the safety
of these devices for breast augmentation over the years. With the
proper government oversight as well as cooperation between the FDA and
the industry developing these implants, they have become safe and
effective for long term enjoyment.

The thyroid gland is a butterfly shaped gland that is located over the trachea (wind pipe) just below the larynx (voice box). The thyroid gland plays a very important role in most all the metabolic processes of the body. The thyroid gland with its thyroid hormone is responsible for regulating metabolism.

How Thyroid Hormone is Made

The hypothalamus, often referred to as the body’s “thermostat” is responsible for making sure the thyroid blood levels are normal. When the hypothalamus notices the thyroid blood levels decreasing it releases TRH (thyroid releasing hormone). The TRH then signals the pituitary gland to release TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone). TSH stimulates the thyroid gland to begin producing thyroid hormone.

When the body’s levels of thyroid hormone become normal and the body is functioning normally the pituitary gland will cease its release of TSH and the process stops until the hypothalamus notices the thyroid hormone levels decreasing again.

Hypothyroidism

Hypothyroidism is caused by insufficient production or absorption of thyroid hormone that causes abnormally low blood thyroid hormone levels. This problem with the thyroid gland is usually brought about as a result of iodine insufficiency, a tumor, a damaged thyroid gland, or vitamin deficiencies. This type of hypothyroidism is called “primary hypothyroidism”.
Hypothyroidism can also be a result of the pituitary gland and/or hypothalamus failing to function properly. This type of hypothyroidism is called “secondary hypothyroidism”.

Low thyroid hormone levels may not only make you feel old, they can propel you into the conditions and diseases associated with aging. Low levels of T4 can be responsible for weight gain, since T4 plays a role in controlling the body’s metabolism. The changes that are brought about as a result of the aging process such as changes in the fat to muscle ratio and the shrinkage of organs can also be caused by a lack of thyroid hormone. A decrease in the amount of lean body mass can in turn interfere with the activity of an enzyme that converts thyroxine (T4) into triodothyronine (T3). T3 is about 5 times more potent than T4.

Adequate levels of thyroid hormone are needed to regulate blood sugar, so a deficiency of thyroid hormone can lead to mature-onset diabetes. Low levels of thyroid hormone can also greatly increase the risk of cardiovascular disease due to an increase in the levels of cholesterol and triglycerides and may cause high blood pressure. Also, iodine is essential to the proper functioning of the thyroid gland, several studies that have been done have shown a correlation between low iodine levels and an increased risk of cancer.

Symptoms of Hypothyroidism

weakness, fatigue, and lack of energy
dry, flaky, pale skin
dry, coarse, dull hair, loss of hair
lack of appetite
weight gain
thinning of eye brows
sensitivity to cold
brittle nails
cold hands and feet
constipation
low body temperature

The general opinion of many in the medical community has been that the drop that occurs in hormone levels is a normal part of the aging process and replacement is not necessary.
Although some of their aging patients are having clear symptoms of insufficient thyroid hormone levels, some physicians refuse to place these ailing patients on thyroid medication because they consider their ailing condition a normal part of the aging process. These physician’s poor patients are missing out on thyroid replacement therapy that should alleviate or improve most, if not all their symptoms. Thankfully this negative opinion is slowly changing.

In the older population hypothyroidism is one of the most overlooked conditions.

Self-Detection of Hypothyroidism

A test called the Barnes Basal Temperature test can show you if your thyroid hormone level may be low.

Place a thermometer next to your bed before going to sleep. Be sure to shake the thermometer down if it is a mercury thermometer.
As soon as you awake, place the thermometer under your arm, lie quietly and leave the thermometer under your arm for about 10 minutes. Be sure to check your temperature before you move around much because an increase in your activity can cause an increase in your temperature. You want to take your temperature as soon after coming out of sleep as possible.

In this article, we examine the compound light microscope and discuss the differences between monocular, binocular and trinocular microscopes.

The compound light microscope is one of the most commonly used types of microscope.? Among its many uses is the science classroom, where they are an affordable and easy to use instrument for learning biology and chemistry.? The instrument traces back generations, but recently has evolved into a very modern instrument.

Only a few decades ago, you could find the microscope in just two basic types.? There was the monocular compound microscope and the binocular compound.? That is, the compound light microscope came with either one or two viewing units.? With the monocular compound, there was a single eyepiece and so you looked at your specimen with just one eye.? This is still what many people envision when they hear the word “microscope.”? Then there’s the binocular model which, naturally, resembles a pair of binoculars.? That’s because there are a pair of viewing units, one for each eye.? Today, there are few if any monocular compound microscopes made.? The new standard is the binocular.

However, even more recent times have introduced to us a newer standard.? This is the trinocular compound microscope.? The “tri” signifies a third viewing port.? This makes it a not-as-common spin-off of the binocular compound.

The function of the trinocular microscope is a bit different, since most people only have two eyes.? The third eyepiece, then, is for use by a second person.? It comes in handy in a couple of situations.? First, if two people need to consult together over the same specimen, they are able to look at it at the same time.? A second and more common use of the trinocular is to allow a science instructor to see the same thing that his student sees under the microscope.? A third good use for it is to take pictures of the specimen with a camera placed over the third eyepiece.? Each of the microscope parts functions in harmony, allowing the camera to see what the person’s eye sees.

The compound light microscope, as suggested earlier, is powerful due to its pair of optical parts.? Let’s discuss these and how each of them is used.

1.? First of these parts are the objective lenses on the scope.? These lenses sit right above the specimen, collecting the light emitted by the specimen.? The typical compound microscope has 3, 4 or 5 objective lenses.? Each of these will offer a slightly different level of magnification.? These objective lenses are held together by the nose piece.? As this nose piece is notated, the magnification is altered by a different objective lens.

2) The eyepiece is the second major part.? This is the part that your eye looks directly through to see the specimen.? It’s a cylinder shape and contains a lens.? The eyepiece is also called the microscope ocular.?

As these two major parts work together, there are is a huge range in magnification available.? In fact, if it fits on the microscope, there is almost certainly a magnification level that will bring it to life for you.? It’s virtually unlimited in the viewing potential it offers you.

The compound scope has some other important parts, too, like the condenser.? The condenser is one of the more fragile but important parts.? There are other important parts to the microscope, such as the condenser.? A diagram of the parts condenser is helpful to make sure it stays in good condition. Do a Google or Yahoo search for more information.

Costs for your microscope might vary, but normally they will run in the range of $500 to $800 for a modern compound light microscope.? Expect to pay the higher price especially for a trinocular microscope.? You can, of course, find them cheaper used, but make sure to examine the lenses closely to make sure there are no scratches or cracks.? There’s a lot of power in a compound light microscope, as long as you don’t compromise on quality.

Almost everyone would like to have some kind of cosmetic dentistry to enhance the appearance of their teeth because they know that a brighter, white smile creates a better impression on others. Movie and tv stars consider cosmetic dentistry a requirement for their work. You, too, can improve your smile with bridges, contouring, or whitening.?
Are your teeth relatively straight but several are longer than the others are? Do you have a small chip in one or more teeth? Contouring is the solution. It can reshape the teeth as well as alter the length in one of the fastest and easiest procedures available. Contouring is a very safe method of enhancing your teeth because only a minimal amount of enamel is shaved off. The overall goal is to have all the teeth in your smile the same length. If a tooth is too long, the dentist will trim enamel from it. If a tooth needs to be longer, he can add laminate to increase its length. This method can also cure a chipped tooth. Although this is a quick fix, it usually lasts up to ten years.?
It doesn’t matter why a tooth is missing, be it from a car accident or a cavity; it should always be replaced as soon as possible with either an implant or a bridge. If it is not, as time passes the teeth on either side of the gap may shift to fill the void. Then you will have to move the teeth back before you can replace the missing tooth.?
A bridge is a pontic (an artificial tooth) connected to a crown on either side of it. The dentist removes enamel from each of the adjacent teeth, and then sends a mold to his lab to create your custom bridge. The dentist then permanently cements the bridge into position so the pontic is held in place by the two crowns adjacent to it. If properly cared for, a bridge will last ten to fifteen years.?
More and more people today are concerned about bright, white teeth because the foods and beverages we consume so easily stain them. Coffee, tea, cola, and dark fruit juices can discolor your teeth, as well as foods such as beets, berries, and carrots. The more you eat and drink these foods and beverages, the more you risk your teeth losing their natural luster. Whitening your teeth is the simple solution.?
The goal for any over-the-counter whitening kit is to lighten your teeth by at least several shades. These kits can be purchased at grocery stores and pharmacies. However, your dentist can bleach your teeth, which will lighten your teeth by as much as ten shades. In addition, a professional will be doing it so it will be safer. Not only that, it will be faster and last quite a bit longer.?Your dentist offers several other procedures such as laser whitening, chemical whitening, abrasive whitening, and acid whitening.?
Advances in technology continue to improve cosmetic dentistry. As the different procedures improve and become easier to perform, the costs drop. New materials are being used that are far superior to the compounds of only a few years ago. If you are interested in enhancing your smile with bridges, contouring or whitening, call your dentist today and schedule an appointment.?

The
major issue comes up with pre-packaged goods with huge amount sodium. However,
you need to be watchful while looking for some foods such as processed meats,
cheeses, canned soups, and frozen dinners. Many dieticians will recommend you
to intake 2000 milligrams of sodium at max, but you should first consult your
doctor before following such kind of plan.

Another
part of your liver cirrhosis diet plan is protein. Protein is responsible for
maintaining and repairing your liver tissues. Protein intake should not be
excessive, but adequate.

Low
sodium intake refers to no salt on eggs, steak, or ice cream. Sodium intake
plays an important role and needs to be maintained with cirrhosis. However,
salt is also important but you will get habitual as time goes on.

In order
to maintain your protein intake you should include nuts, seeds, milk, in your
diet plan. However, you should keep low on taking animal proteins as it can
cause encephalopathy. Make your diet plan considering these factors in mind.

Try to
keep your fat level low as persons dealing with cirrhosis experience difficulty
in digesting fat. You should properly follow your diet plan to keep fat level
low during calories intake. Drink lot of water as it helps digesting food
easily.

Liver is an important part of body and it needs special
care and precautions to keep it healthy. Cirrhosis is a disease in which the
normal tissues of liver get replaced by fibrous scar and lumps that grow as a
result of damaged tissue. It causes problems in liver functioning.

Dull and lifeless skin is a very common problem faced these days by people. Read this article to know some useful home remedies for dull skin.

Dull and lifeless skin is a very common problem faced these days. To possess a youthful glowing skin is more than luxury today. The reasons for this are the oppression of the pollution in the environment outside and the effects of harsh cosmetics on it. Our poor lifestyle habits are also largely responsible for the increasing skin problems. Unhealthy diet, inadequate exercise, incorrect practices of skin care make our skin look papery, dull and dry. These apparent reasons lead to deeper scientific issues. ?br />
Thus the first step to have a soft, supple, glowing and youthful skin is to remove these layers of dead cells from the top of your skin. Exfoliation is the only way to do it. Exfoliating the skin with a facial scrub will gradually remove the dead layer and expose the fresh layer of skin which will give you a shiny look. Avoid using hot water and harsh chemicals to wash your face as it may take away the nourishment from your skin.?br />
Listed below are some home made masks and procedures through which you can get a younger looking skin if you follow the above instructions closely? Spearmint leaves have amazing hydrating, cleansing and rejuvenating power. Apply a paste of it by mashing it with a few drops of water twice daily. This will wear off all the dead cells from your skin. Papaya and gram flour, another great combination for exfoliation. Make a paste of the two with honey in a 2:2:2 ratios and apply on the face. While honey will moisturize the rest will cleanse. Mashed apricot and olive oil also make a good mask for dull skin.

Avoid intake of nicotine as it obstruct the flow of blood to the skin which accentuates early aging. Regular exercise provides blood with fresh oxygen thus initiating the process of circulation resulting in beautiful and bright skin. Dehydration leads your skin to be dry. So increase intake of fluid especially water to keep your body well hydrated which in turn will keep your skin from going papery dry. Another very important reason is the stress and tension we go through everyday. The lesser stressed we are the better skin we have. So try to distress yourself every now and then and try staying happy even when there is not enough reason to be happy. These are some of the natural key ingredients to get rid of dull skin.

Any surgical operation carries some amount of risk and a facelift is no
exception. Knowing the worst case scenario ahead of time will help a
person make an informed decision. Getting all the facts, both pros and
cons, is always a wise thing to do. A facelift can rejuvenate one’s
appearance, causing them to look younger and feel more energized, as
well.

Some of the variables that affect a person’s physical aging process can
be controlled. Although much of the process is influenced by genetics,
lifestyle can have a substantial weigh in, as well. These include our
nutrition choices, unprotected exposure to sunrays and cigarette
smoking. The environmental components, which are cumulative over time,
are under our control.

The operation to lift up one’s facial features usually takes from three
to five hours to perform. The surgeon will make incisions in the hair
and scalp regions as well as in natural creases of one’s skin. Extra
tissue is removed and pulled into a tauter positioning. The area is
then stitched closed in such a way that the scarring should be fairly
well hidden.

The most common age range of recipients of this procedure is from age
forty to age seventy-five or so. Results may vary, depending on skin
tone, healing response, elasticity and condition of the tissue.

Some of the risks include patients being unhappy with their results. It
is important that expectations are reality based. Facelifts are meant
to address the lower 75% of the facial region. This includes the jowls,
cheeks and chin region. Areas such as the neck or brow will need a
different technique. Sometimes it is necessary to do more than one
procedure in order to completely rejuvenate the face.

Excessive wrinkling may need to be addressed in a different way. Facial
resurfacing techniques such as chemical peels, Botox and dermabrasion
may get rid of wrinkles in a more satisfactory manner. A consultation
with a cosmetic surgeon should answer all questions about the
appropriate choice of surgery to correct individual flaws.

Potential risks also include infection, unexpected scarring and an
unfavorable reaction to anesthesia. Some rare problem occurrences
include numbness and even paralysis. Skin discoloration, blood clots
and hair loss have been known to occur rarely, as well.

Some ways to reduce the chances of complications is by selecting a
board certified plastic surgeon and to be in good health, both
physically and mentally, before undergoing the operation. Cigarette
smoking and sun exposure should be curtailed, as well.

Most facelifts are successful and complication free. Being aware of the
worst case possibilities as well as the great benefits of enhancing
one’s appearance will help a person make the best decision for them.

Face lift is a cosmetic surgery procedure that is used to enhance one’s
facial features. As in all medical procedures, a facelift has risks
attached. Is it worth it?
